Must be U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain clearance.Job description : Perform analysis and design of structural systems for all types of building materials using various building codesParticipate in field surveys and document existing conditionsCommunicate and coordinate with architects and engineers of other disciplinesReview and evaluate existing building structural systemsPrepare drawings using Revit and AutoCADWrite comprehensive reportsReview construction submittals, participate in construction observation, and respond to contractor inquiriesTrack all hours and expenses for your billable hours on projectsRequired : Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE), with a concentration in structural engineering, OR Architectural EngineeringÂLicensed PEExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, & current industry structural engineering design softwareBluebeamÂGood organizational and team skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, agile environmentWillingness to be challenged and develop new skillsAbility to obtain secret clearancePreferred : Experience in AT FP (anti-terrorism / force protection)PE in VA or DCFederal and military project experienceProject Management experienceAjeraIdeally, the client is looking for someone who has 5-10 years of experience.
