Selectek is hiring a System Engineer  for one of our partnering companies located in Richmond, Virginia. Candidates in this role will be focused on systems integration and creation based on clients' project requirements.Employment Type : Contract-to-Direct (Six month contract period)Location : Richmond, VAExpected Pay Range : $38 - $50 per hour before conversion, depending on experience and certification.Job Requirements : •   3 Years of PLC and PAC Programming Platform Experience : Rockwell / Allen-Bradley / Siemens,Omron, Modicon, GE etc. and / or a combination of the following working for a Systems Integrator or manufacturing consultant : •   HMI Platforms : Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Wonderware, Schneider Electric, etc.•   SCADA Platforms : Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Inductive Automation, Wonderware, GE, Siemens, etc.•   Servo Motion Control : Rockwell / Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Omron, etc.ÂIn addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.Job Duties : •   Engineering and implementing real-time automation controls and information solutions.•   Conceptualizing during the design phase of the project life cycle.•   System programming, debugging, and testing.•   Creating documentation, including project engineering notes, project proposals, project design traceability documentation, case studies, and more.•   Commissioning new solutions at client sites; finding opportunities for improvements.•   Be flexible with LOCAL travel, which can be expected to range up to 50%. (Will return home everyday)Schedule : Monday-Friday, flexible start and end times.
