In this role, you will play a key role in planning, leading, and delivering transportation design projects that improve traffic flow, safety, and accessibility for communities.Note : You must be authorized to work for any employer in the USA to be considered.You can use your skills and experience for the following : Manage and oversee all aspects of transportation design projects, from initial planning to completion.Lead the development of traffic signal, lighting, maintenance of traffic, detour, pavement marking, and signing plans.Conduct traffic analysis studies, site access evaluations, and circulation studies.Prepare signal warrants, design exceptions / waivers, and project proposals.Facilitate, participate in, and lead project meetings to ensure clear communication and collaboration.Collaborate with colleagues across different offices on traffic engineering and transportation planning initiatives.What you bring : A Bachelor of Civil Engineering or a related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within one year of employment.8-12 years of experience in transportation engineering and / or civil engineering.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Excellent project management and public presentation skills.Proficiency in the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM) and Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).Working knowledge of AutoCAD software or MicroStation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.If you're a results-oriented professional with a passion for transportation engineering, we encourage you to apply to Joe St. Louis at jstlouis@selectek.com.
