We are seeking a Material Handler for a Temp-Hire position with our client, a reputable manufacturer that supplies large-scale conveyors located in Eugene, Oregon .
The Material Handler will play an essential role in the hands on handling of materials in the distribution yard outdoors. The ideal candidate will maintain an organized and safe environment while actively contributing to the efficient distribution of materials and building of shipping.

As a Material Handler , you will be responsible for :
- Functioning primarily a ground position, verifies parts vs. packing slip, or cribs small bundles and crates parts at the crib table
- Once company specific forklift certification is accomplished, unloading vendor trucks, verifying receipts, and inspecting material quality
- Distributing materials to proper locations as necessary
- Removing all dunnage and excess packaging from incoming material
- Examining contents and compares with records to verify accuracy of incoming shipment
- Building custom wood shipping pallets and crates for small, finished goods
- Kitting materials for distribution to the shop and other manufacturing facilities
- Kitting small, finished goods to ship to customers
- Delivering part kits to and from work areas
- Moving items by forklift as needed up to 10,000 pounds
- Ensuring inventory and work in process materials are organized in facility and storage yard
