Key Responsibilities for the Inventory Accounting Specialist :
Payment Processing : Ensure timely payments to vendors, maintaining schedules for monthly vendor payments.
Vendor Management : Communicate with vendors and volunteers to obtain necessary documents such as W9s and payment details.
- Full-Cycle Accounts Payable : Process vouchers, ensuring invoices match purchasing documents and are accurate.

Support the Controller : Assist the controller and other departments as needed, including vendor updates and payment processing.
File Maintenance : Maintain organized AP documentation and support records.
1099 Processing : Ensure the accurate processing of 1099s annually.
Payroll Support : Assist with payroll duties as required.
Inventory Accounting : Preferred experience in inventory accounting.
Purchase Order Management : Process purchase orders, ensure approvals are obtained, and maintain related records.
Month-End Close Support : Assist with monthly close, including journal entries, schedules, and reconciliations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for the Accounting Specialist :
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong data entry skills with excellent mathematical abilities.
Proficiency in accounting and bookkeeping principles.
Experience with Microsoft Excel (including creating and managing spreadsheets).
Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining thoroughness.

Position Details for the Accounting Specialist :
Work Schedule : Monday - Friday (No weekends!)
Pay Range : $24 - $27 / hr, depending on experience (DOE)
