Duties and Responsibilities for Office Assistant :
Answer phones and direct calls
Great and direct visitors
Implement reception policies and procedures
Process incoming mail
Receive payments and maintain a daily cash log
Schedule appointments for assigned programs
Cancel and reschedule appointments for absent staff
Skills and Qualifications for Office Assistant :
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Professional, friendly, and comfortable engaging with visitors / clients both in person and over the phone
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comparable Google Workspace apps
Comfortable seeking assistance and regularly engaging with a supervisor
Self-aware and proactive in identifying needs of visitors, clients, and co-workers
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tasks
Strong multi-tasking skills; able to complete multi-step procedures correctly, even with interruptions
Ability to work independently while following established policies and procedures
