Overview
The Procurement Representative is responsible for procuring consumable, promotional, cellular, and technology-related hardware and software purchase and sales orders, ensuring adherence to company standards and requirements. This role encompasses research, analysis, sourcing, processing, providing alternative recommendations, cost comparisons, vendor relations, and documentation. Additionally, the representative is responsible for maintaining inventory levels and assisting with the receipt and delivery of packages within the corporate complex. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Pay Range
USD $59,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.

Additionally, the representative is responsible for maintaining inventory levels and assisting with the receipt and delivery of packages within the corporate complex. All job duties and responsibilities must be carried out in compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Identifies and procures solutions to user requests for consumable and approved technology-related software and hardware, ensuring user satisfaction. This includes handling single purchase requests as well as those impacting entire business units or departments.
- Monitors Procurement mailbox requests to ensure compliance with published SLA’s. Keeps the supervisor informed of any customer service or cost/expense issues.
- Collaborates with the Procurement Supervisor to maintain ongoing business relationships with vendors, supporting procurement best practices. Attends meetings to identify potential new purchases for proactive sourcing events.
- Assist in Supply when needed and provides backup support to Supply Clerk. Provides requested documentation to AP as part of the Supply process.
- Tracks workflow activity to ensure appropriate charge backs to cost centers and proper handling of purchase and sales orders through approval and close-out. Supports the Supervisor with quarterly reports to accounting for processing.
- Collaborates with the Procurement Supervisor to track and report monthly cost savings, projects, and procurement numbers on the SLA form.
- Assists in the creation and monitoring of RFP sourcing events. Provides backup support when needed.
- Acts as the main contact for Ariba reverse auctions and quick quote discovery postings, ensuring to include at least one diverse vendor whenever possible.
- Assists the Procurement Supervisor in promotional purchases and company store administration.
Knowledge and Requirements
- Knowledge of Peachtree, MS Outlook, and Excel.
- College degree preferred
- 1-2 years’ experience in purchasing preferred
