Site Acquisition Specialist I – Entry-Level
SSC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Site Acquisition Specialist to join our Site Acquisition team. This position is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the wireless telecommunications field. The candidate will assist with researching and identifying viable site locations, site visits, and lease/site document reviews for wireless infrastructure while learning from experienced professionals.
The responsibility of the Entry Level Site Acquisition Specialist shall be:
- Support the team in identifying potential wireless site locations based on client needs and project requirements.
- Assist with site visits, feasibility assessments, and preliminary evaluations.
- Pull down files from client database to complete and support site file audits.
- Organize and maintain records of agreements, permits, and project documentation.
- Contribute to progress updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Some travel and relationship-building with property owners will be required. The Site Acquisition Specialist will coordinate the responsibilities of each site project with the Site Acquisition Department and the Engineering Department to ensure that the client is satisfied with the performance of the Company.
Candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- The ability and willingness to proactively communicate with clients and other employees daily.
- Precise written and oral communication skills, with an ability to concisely summarize, in writing, prior instructions communicated by clients orally in meetings and conference calls.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of desktop programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to travel locally as required.
A basic understanding of permitting, zoning, and regulatory processes that impact the wireless industry is preferred; A bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required; Prior experience working with databases is preferred
