What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural Engineer position at Selective Site Consultants Inc?
Telecommunications consulting firm is looking for a qualified candidate to fill a Structural Engineer position within the Architecture and Engineering (A&E) department. The Structural Engineer is accountable to the Lead Structural Engineer and is expected to work with little supervision, although some direction from more experienced engineers is anticipated. Structural Engineers are responsible for analyzing existing and proposed structures to ensure that they are adequate to support the required design or loading. Structural Engineers are also responsible for reviewing the structural aspects of the designs and drawings to ensure that the are accurate, meet all applicable codes, and the client requirements. Continual improvement in proficiency in the respected area of expertise and code knowledge is expected.
2-5 years experience in the telecom industry and BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
PE License not required.
