The company has expanded its product lines and capabilities recently and is now actively on a path to expand its geographic footprint and double its size over the next five years. This position has the potential to grow into a senior finance/accounting position within the organization.
About The Job – As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee a small accounting team handling a high volume business serving customers mainly in the northeast and Midwest regions of the US.
- Accounting lead on Monthly Close and all General Ledger Activity
- G/L, B/S, A/R, A/P, Reconciliations
- Payroll Processing with Third-Party Processing Company
- Treasury Management
- Bank Reconciliations
- Support senior leaders with budgeting, forecasting and product line analysis
- You will need to be detailed, have strong systems skills – Excel, SAGE or similar enterprise package
- Coordinate all year end activity and interact with outside audit firm
- Sales tax, and Extensive inventory management experience
- FA/Depreciation experience would be a plus
Experience:
- BS in Accounting – advance degree or CPA preferred
- 7 years of accounting experience
- Leadership in a high-volume distribution or wholesale enterprise or in a manufacturing setting with inventory accounting duties is preferred
- Hands-on, strong organizational skills and a lean mindset to restructure and to plan for a strong growth trajectory
Salary: $90,000 base salary
