About the Role :
The Director of Infrastructure oversees all aspects of the infrastructure department, and is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the information technology infrastructure, including physical data center and networking space, physical and virtual servers, Storage and SAN infrastructure, networking components and routing, Active Directory and Group Policy, and other activities related to enterprise-class infrastructure architecture. This role must effectively manage a growing team, and will lead the team in supporting the company through a wide range of projects and communicating with people from other departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Drives the infrastructure team in building systems to support the whole company.Manages Infrastructure team, providing performance reviews and guidance, routine checkpoints on project progressEnsures appropriate network and server monitoring and security systems and alerts are implemented and currentDesigns, implements, and tests infrastructure Disaster Recovery topology and protocols for Tier I critical business componentsDocuments and maintains network and infrastructure physical and logical diagramsDrives and coordinates incident management for infrastructure-related issuesCommunicates effectively and efficiently with business lines and vendor partners regarding infrastructure support and analysesDevelops, recommends, and implements new or updated technologies and procedures to ensure streamlined, secure, and scalable systemsProvides 24 / 7 on call infrastructure supportLead by example and demonstrate high performance in the areas of customer service, collaboration, teamwork, reliability, productivity, and executionSkills / Abilities :

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an information technology field (e.g., Computer / Management Information Systems (MIS / CIS), Computer Science (CS), Electrical / Computer Engineering (EE / CE), or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience10 or more years of relevant and progressive experience directly related to network and server architecture implementation and management across LAN / WAN, Wireless, ISP, Data Center, SAN, Load Balancing, Clustering, Virtualization, Hybrid Cloud, Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery technologies8 or more years of progressive management experience in the IT field requiredCertificates / Licenses / Registration
Professional technical certifications preferred, but not requiredFinancial Responsibilities (budget revenue)

Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites.
