ESCROW ANALYST

Position Summary: The Escrow Analysis Specialist I will ensure that policy and procedures for the department are strictly adhered to, federal and private investor guidelines are followed and that business objectives are achieved by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Maintains the workflow volume for the Escrow Analysis department to meet internal and private investor Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Handles escalated loan level issues and provide departmental research assistance for complex issues as required to support client inquiries and various departments.
• Works with management to ensure that internal and external audits are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs individual escrow analysis as requested by other departments
• Reviews mass analysis for anomalies and ensures accurate and timely analysis per RESPA requirements.
• Completes task within SLA’s
• Works with the Manager to document, communicate, and implement changes in policy and procedures.
• Identifies areas for improvement and efficiency.
• Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Completes required training courses in a timely manner.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Preferred BKFS MSP or Sagent experience and/or training in any of the following workstations: Escrow Analysis, Tax, Hazard Insurance and MIP/PMI is preferred.

Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions with minimal supervision.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS, and Sagent preferred.
