Overview
The Home Attendant plays a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes. This position involves assisting one individual with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist client with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide medication administration as directed by employer.
• Launder clothing and linens to maintain a clean living environment.
• Support clients in daily activities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Skills

• Experience working in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with care practices for individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with client and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the individual
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively while ensuring attention to detail.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
