Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as grooming, feeding, and using bathroom.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitor health needs ensuring any changes are communicated to client or family member.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Assist with transportation to appointments or social events as required.
Skills
- Experience in home care or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic health assessments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to assist clients compassionately while respecting their dignity and independence.
- Enjoyment of sport, music, film, and tv shows is a plus.
