Description
The Fundraising Reporting Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the fundraising efforts at Self Enhancement, Inc. (SEI). This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of SEI’s donor database, processing gifts, generating insightful reports, and providing timely acknowledgments to SEI’s valued donors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and possesses a strong understanding of CRM databases, particularly Blackbaud products and Raiser's Edge NXT.
Responsibilities:
- Donor Database Management:
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the donor database, including data entry, updates, and record management.
- Process all incoming donations, ensuring accurate gift entry and allocation.
- Work with development team to gather and enter timely data reflecting fundraising-related activities.
- Implement and maintain data hygiene practices to ensure data quality.
- Maintain confidentiality of donor information.
- Gift Processing and Acknowledgement:
- Process and reconcile all donations received through various channels (online, mail, etc.).
- Generate and distribute timely and accurate gift acknowledgment letters and receipts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Online Giving and Reporting:
- Create, manage, and monitor online giving forms and donation pages.
- Build and maintain fundraising reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators.
- Analyze fundraising data to identify trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy across all reports.
- CRM System Administration:
- Utilize and maintain the CRM system (Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT) to its full potential.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
- Stay up-to-date on CRM system updates and best practices.
- Financial Reconciliation and Invoicing:
- Perform regular reconciliation of fundraising data with the Finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Work with management to review and report on revenue and expenditures related to development budget.
- Generate and send invoices to donors and sponsors for pledges, sponsorships, and other payment obligations.
- Track invoice payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Other Duties:
- Support for fundraising-related event activities.
- Support for data/design for presentations as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fundraising reporting or a related field.
- Proven experience working with CRM databases, preferably Blackbaud products, including Raiser's Edge NXT.
- Strong understanding of fundraising principles and best practices.
- Excellent data entry and database management skills.
- Proficiency in generating reports and analyzing data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with online giving platforms.
- Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles.
- Experience with other Blackbaud products.
Salary : $50,000 - $62,000
