We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated Associate Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance department. If you’re an ambitious individual who enjoys solving complex business problems, then we want to work with you. Your work will include preparing recurring and ad hoc financial reporting and analysis, supporting Self’s procurement function, monitoring trends in key performance indicators and collaborating with various departments for key inputs for financial forecasting. What You’ll Do
- Act as the main point of contact and facilitator for Self’s Procurement process and software, Coupa
- Assist and train employees across the organization with best practices on using the Coupa software
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, forecasts, and budgets by collecting, analyzing and interpreting financial data.
- Conduct in-depth financial research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risk affecting the company’s financial performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial information, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.
- Monitor key financial metrics and indicators, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the preparation of presentations for internal stakeholders, summarizing financial results and insights.
- Monitoring trends in key performance indicators.
- Learn the systems and tools used for analysis and reporting.
- Internship or coursework related to finance or analytics is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Financial Modeling.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
