Job Summary
The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for all members and guests. This position requires a friendly, professional, and highly organized individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk, and supporting the overall success of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Services:
Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
Assist members with inquiries, questions, and concerns.
Process member check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
Assist with membership sales and renewals.
Schedule appointments for personal training sessions and other services.
Provide information about facility amenities and services.
Resolve member issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
Assist VIP members with any special requests or needs.
Front Desk Operations:
Answer phone calls and direct calls appropriately.
Manage and maintain front desk records and logs.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Assist with facility maintenance and cleanliness as needed.
Monitor facility security and report any suspicious activity.
Recovery Room Operations:
Take payments from members utilizing the recovery room for the sauna and cold plunge.
Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of the recovery room.
Provide guidance and instructions to members on the use of recovery room amenities.
Sales & Marketing:
Promote facility memberships and services to potential customers.
Provide tours of the facility to prospective members.
Assist with marketing initiatives and events.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred.
Passion for fitness and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry light objects.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
