What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Nutrition Lead, Full Time, First Shift position at Self Regional?
Assists in leading unit personnel on assigned shift. Communicates identified problems with Supervisor, Coordinator or Lead. Oversees daily workflow duties of unit, ensures services to patients are provided as professionally, accurately and timely as possible in the absence of the Supervisor, Coordinator or Lead. Assist with duties/tasks to ensure all are done correctly, timely and efficiently. Assists with scheduling assignments by covering the schedule in a team member's absence. Acts as a liaison between the department, patients and customers. Assists in mentoring/training new team members. Records food service and DHEC logs and records. Upholds & enforces excellent patient care/service at all times. Must be flexible and available to work any shift hours. Upholds all DHEC/DNV regulation in regard to food safety, facility upkeep, cleaning & sanitation. Performs any other duties as assigned by department leadership or Coordinator. Has thorough knowledge and understanding of the Room Service, Tray Monitor and Dish Room processes. Has thorough knowledge of patient diets, menu items, and supplements. Ensures soiled trays are removed from patient rooms in a professional and timely manner.
