What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Staff, LDRP position at Self Regional?
Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Obtain NRP certification within 1 year of hire. All labor nurses become ACLS-OB certified with 1 year of hire. Labor Nurses complete annual fetal monitor training. Complete annual review of unit specific Code A responsibilities. Performs any other job related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. ADN degree. BLS certified. Must have or obtain NRP certification and become ACLS-OB certified within first year of hire.
