What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Support RN position at Self Regional?
Serves as the expert teacher/resource for assigned units, concentrating on night shift new graduate nurses and night shift new hire nurses. Provides unit/department specific as well as Nursing/SRH wide educational offerings.
Qualifications
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. BSN Required, MSN degree preferred. MSN required within two years of hire. Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience with two years in area of specialization preferred. Demonstrate clinical competence and in-depth knowledge in specialty area with previous education experience. Certification in area of specialty preferred. BLS and ACLS certified.
