What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Nurse, Orthopaedic Associates position at Self Regional?
Completes initial assessments and re-assessments for patients being seen by clinical providers. Identifies common medical/nursing care/learning
needs, symptoms, and/or abnormal diagnostic data. Assists physician/other healthcare providers with routine procedures within scope of
practice/expertise. Performs assigned treatments, therapies, and procedures safely. Administers medications and sterile solutions as
directed/authorized by provider. Uses Epic proficiently as primary source of documentation of all patient visits and correspondence. Assists
providers with patient flow and utilizes office nursing knowledge to enhance performance of the office providers. Completes all required training
when scheduled allowing none to become delinquent. Practices work in a safe manner, following proper protocols of infections control, accident
prevention, proper body mechanics, etc.. Attends meetings/training sessions as directed. Performs other duties as assigned
