What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operating Room Technician, Full Time, Day Shift position at Self Regional?
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs specific assigned duties in providing patient care in accordance with established SRH and Nursing Services Policies and Standard Work. Functions in a supportive role to communicate patient care needs and resolve work-related issues. Performs any other job related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Department Director.
Has the ability to learn the technical aspects and maintenance of various operating room equipment; successful orientation to hospital OR role and completion of first 90 days of employment; selectively appropriates equipment for surgical procedures; assists in the assembly, preparation and positioning of perioperative equipment for surgical procedures.
