What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utilization Documentation Manager, Case Management position at Self Regional?
Required Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
• 15 years of acute care clinical experience for ADN or Diploma Graduates
• At least one year of supervisory experience managing employees as evidenced by
conducting performance appraisals, participating in staff selection, training, and
scheduling
Preferred Qualifications:
• BSN or Baccalaureate degree in health-related field with 5 years of acute care
experience
• Knowledge of Case Management as demonstrated by 1-3 years Case Management,
Utilization Management or Quality Management practice
• National certification
• Knowledge of licensing, accrediting, and third-party payer requirements strongly
preferred
• Experience with diagnosis and procedure coding
