Pay: $18.00-22.00 per hour
Shift: Day Shift
Expected hours: 40 per week
Summary
Self Serve Lumber is seeking a detailed-oriented and organized Accountant to join our team. The Accountant is responsible for a variety of tasks focused on accounts payable, general ledgers, and supporting the payroll administrator.
Duties
- Accounts Payable invoicing and check printing.
- Ensures accuracy of general ledger entries.
- Assist with weekly payroll reporting.
- Handling tax payments and payroll deductions.
- Prepare adjusting journal entries.
- Bank statement and credit card reconciliation.
- Reviews, prepares, and processes billing documents
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Minimum of two or more years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Minimum of one or more years of experience working with General Ledgers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of the lumber/hardware industry is a plus.
