What are the responsibilities and job description for the Natural Pet Food Store Hiring position at Self Serve Pet Spa?
Natural Pet Food Store and Dog Wash Hiring - We aren't just a dog wash, oh no we aren't!!
Want to learn about animal nutrition while meeting dogs, cats and the occasional turkey? We aren't just a dog wash, we have carried the largest variety of top quality raw pet food in Central California for 15 years!
What we need you to do at work:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Must be outgoing and wanting to help improve the lives of animals
- Learn about the benefits of feeding a natural diet and see the difference in your own pets!
- Educating customers about natural pet food and/or grooming
- Multitasking between customers with washing, food purchases and phone questions
- Carrying bags of pet food for customers, up to 50lbs
- Cleaning dirty tubs after someone is done washing their pet.
- Cash out customers, able to use credit card machine
- Update client information
- Stocking and front facing
- Dusting, mopping and cleaning, which includes cleaning restrooms and pet waste
- Answering phones and providing accurate information in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Actively learning about products we carry and the difference of products that we don't carry
What you must bring to the table:
- MUST be available to work weekends during ALL business hours .
- MUST be able to consistently lift and move product bags up to 50 pounds .
- MUST be able to work independently.
- Enjoys animals and willing to interact with animals
- A team player and be able to work with others
- Enjoys working with people and communicating with customers.
- Be computer literate; able to use Point of Sale, excel and credit card machine
- Must have excellent phone etiquette
- Knowledge of or able to quickly learn about products we carry'
