What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician (part-time) position at Self Storage?
Part Time Maintenance Technician (Occasional Portable Storage Delivery Driver)
Job Duties:
- Cleaning of vacant units in accordance with our Pristinely Clean Policy
- Washing of walls, doors, painting floors, changing weather stripping on doors, and changing of latches.
- Monitors the physical condition of the facility
- Performing preventative maintenance on property as instructed by management
- Cutting/grinding locks
- Occasional delivery and pick up of portable storage units (Units range from 8'x12' to 8'x20' and the trailer is approximately 26').
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Team player
- Must have knowledge of basic building maintenance
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Able to present yourself in a professional manner
- Reliable along with your mode of transportation
- Able to work under little to no supervision at times and able to multitask
- Assist with the occasional delivery and/or pick up of portable storage units.
- Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, CDL license is a plus
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Able to work Monday-Friday 9AM-1PM
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
