We are a locally managed storage facility dedicated to providing excellent customer service and a clean, secure storage experience. We also offer U-Haul truck rentals to help our customers with their moving needs.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a part-time self-storage manager to handle the daily operations of our Lafayette location. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. You’ll assist customers with renting storage units, process payments, manage U-Haul rentals, and ensure the facility is well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with renting storage units & answering inquiries
- Manage U-Haul rentals, including reservations & check-ins/check-outs
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Perform light cleaning and maintenance to keep the facility looking great
- Conduct security checks and ensure the property is secure
- Provide outstanding customer service and handle minor customer concerns
- Follow company policies & procedures for storage rentals and U-Haul transactions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or property management preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills (for processing payments & managing U-Haul system)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
