What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager position at Self Storage?
Family-owned storage unit in Eugene looking for a full time Property Manager. This is a live-in role, you will reside on-site in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment with rent, utilities(power, water etc), free parking, 1 free storage unit and internet included. Small pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis however this is not a kid-friendly environment, thank you.
We need an individual or couple who is reliable, can work independently, and will prioritize the complex.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
-manage day-to-day operations during working hours Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm
-provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential customers
-knowledge of current tenants and rapport with current customers
-general office tasks such as answering phones, filing, faxing, emails, sorting mail/deliveries and light bookkeeping and daily reports to property owner
-ensure cleanliness and safety of property including light maintenance and gardening (sweep units, change light bulbs, pull weeds etc)
-report any serious maintenance concerns in a timely manner
-audit cash drawer, bank deposits and reports
-handle customer accounts including collecting rent and delinquency actions
-maintain vacant spaces in a clean, rentable condition
-tour storage spaces and assist customers through the rental process
Requirements:
-management experience
-positive energy and customer focused attitude
-attention to detail
-knowledge of computer programs and print/fax machine
-reliable transportation, valid driver's license
-clean record / background check
-ability to lift/move up to 35lbs, open large doors
-walk in/around facility, spend time outdoors
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
