Join the AAA Parking family and work as a Front Door Supervisor at Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel! Make extra money, meet new people, and provide exceptional service as the first and last point of contact for our guests. We seek individuals with a warm attitude, polished appearance, and a commitment to excellence to ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience.
Key Responsibilities are but not limited to:
1. Guest Interaction:
- Greet and welcome all guests in a proper manner.
- Explain the car retrieval procedure clearly to guests.
- Open hotel doors for guests and assist with luggage.
- Offer information about services and facilities of the hotel, points of interest, and entertainment attractions.
- Assist guests with special needs or disabilities.
2. Vehicle Handling:
- Collect and secure keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return.
- Organize and file paperwork regarding guests’ vehicles and daily transactions.
- Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the facility.
- Fill out valet ticket properly and conduct vehicle damage check
- Retrieve and park vehicles for guests quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain keys in an organized and secure manner.
3. Appearance and Presentation:
- A smile must be present at all times, ensuring every guests receives a warm welcome.
- Maintain a clean, professional, and well-groomed appearance at all times, adhering to AAA Parking's uniform and appearance standards.
- Ensure the valet area is clean, organized, and inviting.
4. Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the hotel staff to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate valet operations.
- Support team members during busy periods or special events.
5. Safety and Security:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the security of guests and their vehicles.
- Report any accidents, injuries, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Perform routine inspections of the valet area and equipment.
6. Practice and adhere to the AAA’s of Service:
- Attitude: A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for providing exceptional service.
- Appearance: Impeccable grooming and a professional appearance, reflecting the high standards of Hotel Indigo and AAA Parking.
- Assistance: A genuine desire to assist guests, going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations with poise.
- Ability to stand 100% of the shift and meet physical requirements (lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, carry up to 10 pounds).
- Flexible schedule based on business needs.
- Successfully pass a background and driving record check.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or high-end customer service role preferred.
