In the role of Operator II, you will leverage your technical expertise to enhance the overall success of our team within a clean and secure environment. Your primary responsibility will be to help drive continuous improvement processes and develop new strategies for continuous improvement and skill levels for the Operators on their shift. This role will directly report to the Shift Lead.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Shift Lead to ensure all production assignments are completed
- Resolve first-level operational issues and escalate them as necessary to the Shift Lead
- Ensure all production operations and personnel are following OSHA safety requirements
- Handle training and continual skill improvement of new employees on the production floor
- Monitor status of all production areas as assigned
- Establish and foster a team-focused environment
Your Skillset
- Strong knowledge of machines in a manufacturing setting
- Fulfill physical requirements of the position including walking, standing, stooping and climbing
- Able to lift a maximum of 60 pounds and stand for an eight-hour work shift
- Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts; 24/7 operation may require to work adjusted shifts
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-intensity environment
- Committed to quality, safety and communication
- Excellent communication skills at a cross-functional level (i.e. throughout the company)

Schedule:
- Evening shift 6pm to 6am
- Every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of five (5) years industrial experience
