As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead client outreach, pitch our services, and drive new business opportunities with brands looking to enhance their TikTok strategy.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with brands, pitching Sellery’s TikTok livestreaming and marketing solution, and ensuring successful client partnerships. You will work closely with brand marketing teams, digital agencies, and media buyers to introduce our livestream, influencer, and video solutions that drive engagement and sales on TikTok.
This role is perfect for someone who has agency or ad-tech experience, excels in client-facing sales, and is comfortable managing multiple brand partnerships. If you have experience in e-commerce, influencer marketing, or digital advertising, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
• Identify and pitch brands(on TikTok Shop) that would benefit from Srllery’s service
• Develop customized sales presentations and pitch decks, showcasing how Sellery’s services drive TikTok engagement and e-commerce conversions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brand marketers, media buyers, and e-commerce teams at leading consumer brands.
• Negotiate and close deals with clients, ensuring seamless onboarding and integration into our services.
2. Client Strategy & Relationship Management
• Act as a trusted advisor to brands, educating them on TikTok Shop strategies, livestreaming best practices, and influencer marketing opportunities.
• Work closely with brands to align campaign goals with Sellery’s services, ensuring successful execution and performance.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients via email, calls, and in-person meetings, providing strategic recommendations and performance insights.
• Lead client training sessions on TikTok livestreaming, short-form content, and e-commerce marketing best practices.
3. Collaboration & Industry Expertise
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to support clients and improve our service offerings.
• Stay ahead of TikTok trends, live shopping innovations, and digital marketing strategies to provide clients with industry-leading insights.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to generate new business leads and partnerships.
4. Reporting & Performance Analysis
• Track and report on sales pipeline, client engagement, and campaign success.
• Provide post-campaign analysis, including insights on livestream performance, audience engagement, and e-commerce conversions.
Qualifications
✅ 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or Client Management, preferably in a marketing agency, digital media company, or e-commerce business.
✅ Proven track record of pitching and closing deals with fashion, beauty, or consumer brands
✅ Experience working in an agency, influencer marketing, ad tech, or digital advertising environment.
✅ Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create and deliver high-quality pitch decks.
✅ Excellent email communication and business negotiation skills.
✅ Familiarity with TikTok marketing, influencer partnerships, or e-commerce advertising is a plus.
✅ Comfortable with travel (up to 25%) for client meetings, events, and industry conferences.
✅ Mandarin speaker is a plus.
