Quality Assurance Specialist
Are you passionate about driving quality in the aerospace industry? We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our team at CPP Corporation.
As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring effective communication both internally and externally, while maintaining configuration control documentation through contract review and blueprint/specification control.
This role involves working on various continual improvement projects and may involve training/coaching. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and 6 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or comparable quality discipline is required. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic network usage is also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain configuration control documentation through contract review and blueprint/specification control
- Manage multiple customer accounts, including OEMs and sub-tiers
- Work with Engineering to review and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
- Participate in investigations and dispositions of customer complaints and returns
- Achieve certification for customers' source inspection as necessary
- Work on various continual improvement projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 6 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or comparable quality discipline
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic network usage
Estimated Salary: $145,000 per year
