Job Overview:
Purple Pest Control is a private equity backed commercial and residential pest control service company based in Charlotte, NC. We are looking for motivated, customer-oriented individuals to join our sales team as Door-to-Door Pest Sales Representatives. In this contract role, you will be responsible for generating new business by introducing our pest control services to homeowners and businesses. Your success will be determined by your ability to effectively communicate the benefits of our pest control solutions, build relationships, and close sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Prospecting: Identify and approach potential customers through door-to-door visits within designated neighborhoods or areas.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the pest control services we offer, including treatment options, pricing, and the benefits of our solutions to help you effectively communicate with potential clients.
- Customer Education: Educate homeowners and business owners about common pest issues and the importance of proactive pest control measures.
- Lead Generation: Qualify leads by gathering information about potential customers’ pest control needs, scheduling appointments, and passing leads to the sales team for follow-up.
- Sales Negotiation: Present customized pest control solutions based on individual customer needs and provide price quotes, closing sales agreements.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build a rapport with customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed sales targets, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality service and fostering a positive brand image.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and sales performance using a CRM system.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales or customer service experience, preferably in door-to-door sales or in the pest control industry (but not required).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage potential clients and effectively present solutions.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.

- Reliable transportation for travel between neighborhoods.

Compensation:
This is a commission-based contract position with earning potential based on sales performance. The more sales you generate, the more you can earn! Competitive commission structure and potential bonuses are offered to achieve sales targets.
