What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at SEMA Construction?
SEMA Construction, Inc. has immediate openings for experienced Laborers for heavy highway projects in the Colorado Springs and Pueblo area.
Laborers are needed for various projects and must possess the following skills/requirements to be considered:
· Must pass pre-employment drug screen
· Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in construction work
· Some knowledge of first aid and basic safety rules
· Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
· Ability to lift heavy objects up to 60 lbs on a regular basis
· Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, and to perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
· Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
· Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
· Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Compensation is based on experience starting at $22.00 an hour based on experience.
