SEMA Construction, Inc. has immediate openings for Heavy Equipment Operators for heavy highway projects in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area.
Heavy Equipment Operators are needed for all types of heavy equipment including, but not limited to: loaders, skid steer, excavators, and articulated trucks. Operator applicants must have general heavy highway construction knowledge, including sewer and water experience.
Compensation is based on experience starting at $25.00 per hour.
Qualifications
- Proven three years of experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly in construction settings
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in operating various machinery, including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and cranes
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and follow safety protocols
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, and excavators on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of equipment for various construction tasks.
