What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Layer position at SEMA Construction?
SEMA Construction, Inc., is looking for Pipe Layers for large construction projects in Colorado Springs and Pueblo area.
Working within one of our experienced multi-disciplinary teams, you will
- Experience with sewer and water pipe installation
- Ability to demonstrate common sense understanding and carrying out detailed written and oral
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you will bring to the team
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the construction field
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Have a strong work ethic
- Must be physically able to perform job tasks
- Wear and work in different types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Climbing/stooping while wearing PPE
Preferred Training/Experience:
- Experience with behavior-based safety programs
- Considerable knowledge of sewer and water pipe installation
- Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common Pipe installation
SEMA Construction offers top wages and benefits to all employees. Compensation is based on experience, but is expected to start at $27 per hour.
