Summary/Objective: The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the movement of materials and work-in-progress (WIP) within the facility. This individual will ensure that materials are accurately checked in and out, picked to orders, and staged according to warehouse best practices. The ideal candidate has experience in a production environment, understands outsourced finishing services, and has a working knowledge of fasteners and electrical components.
Essential Functions
- Check in and check out WIP materials, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Pick materials accurately to fulfill orders.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain proper warehouse organization, including staging, cycle counting, and inventory management.
- Work with outsourced finishing services to track and manage materials sent for external processing.
- Follow production and warehouse best practices to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks such as receiving, stocking, and shipping.

Required Skills

Required Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment and occasionally may be required to work outdoors. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
