Summary/Objective: The Assembly and Wiring Technician is responsible for assembling and wiring various electrical and mechanical components for company products. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to follow complex electrical diagrams, and the skill to troubleshoot and resolve wiring issues. The technician will support engineering and administrative teams in project documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Assemble products according to company specifications using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform low voltage control wiring and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics, including low voltage controls.
- Commission new equipment and ensure operational readiness.
- Modify and mark-up electrical drawings to reflect any changes or updates.
- Assist engineers and administrators in project documentation and process improvement efforts.
- Follow routing and instructions provided by the department supervisor.
- Label and tag products and packages appropriately.
- Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes for shipment.
- Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues encountered.
- Place finished goods on designated pallets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or equivalent

This job operates in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
