Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team. This is a full-time on-site position located in Sidney, OH. This role is responsible for machine installation, maintenance, and repair to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate must have a valid welding license and have experience in mechanical troubleshooting and equipment servicing.
Key Responsibilities：
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and machinery according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals for machine setup and repairs.
- Utilize welding skills to fabricate, modify, or repair machine components as needed.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment conditions to management.
Qualifications & Skills：
- High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair.
- A valid welding license is a must.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and manuals.
- Hands-on experience with power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
