Job Overview
We’re seeking a reliable Utility Technician to join our team to perform operation, maintenance and troubleshooting tasks on utility equipment. This role plays a vital role in maintaining the functionality and reliability of the utility system of our manufacturing facilities. This is a full-time on-site position located in Sidney, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain and debug utility systems and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and record findings.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Respond to emergency calls and perform necessary repairs.
- Assist in the installation of new utility systems and equipment.
- Perform regular cleaning of equipment as required.
- Collaborate with other departments to diagnose and resolve issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Boiler operation certificate is required.
- Prior experience in utility maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, or a related area is advantageous.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in utility maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
