Semex is a dynamic global organization that is committed to developing and delivering innovative genetic solutions. Our Boviteq USA division offers reproductive and genetic solutions to North American clients from its world-class In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) labs in Madison, WI, Turlock, CA, Syracuse, NY, and Jerome, ID. Working with accredited OPU (Ovum Pick Up) centers and veterinarians across the U.S., clients can take advantage of Boviteq's innovative reproductive technologies.

We are currently looking to fill the Beef Sales Development role within our Boviteq team. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the positive and professional relationships Semex & Boviteq have built with our global customers, breeders, distributors, and partners.


Responsibilities:

Achieve sales targets by growing in key areas and maintaining sales volume with established accounts

Collaborate with Semex staff, client service, and marketing team to achieve company goals

Travel throughout the US to support veterinarian partners, OPU centers, visit clients and attend key industry events to promote Boviteq

Collaborate with the Boviteq team for the achievement of client satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values

Identify gaps and opportunities for sales; maximizes sales at margins that align with company goals

Work with technical support specialist to improve client results and ensure retention, attend quarterly performance meeting with key accounts, work with clients to manage IVF and ET programs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture field
  • 5 years of sales experience
  • Self-motivated; ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong desire to help clients
  • Previous agriculture experience required
