Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the incumbent will assist in ensuring that the Casino is adhering to company policies and procedures. The primary responsibility of the Player Development Executive is to effectively market, evaluate, recruit, establish and maintain a professional relationship with new Brighton Casino Players. The Player Development Executive will develop and maintain superior relationships with guests by equal utilization of professionalism and personality. They will track and monitor guest feedback and participation on an on-going basis to determine program effectiveness. Prepare, coordinate, host and administer all complimentary and guest events. This is a salaried position, tips may not be accepted.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain communications with Director of Marketing, regarding any and all needs affecting work performance, completion of duties, attendance and guest service.
- Maintain relationships with top players, as well as new potential top players to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
- Supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to assist the Director of Marketing in interviewing and hiring; training PD Staff; strategic planning, assign and direct work; address complaints and resolve problems.
- Ensure preparations of promotional events are made and that invitations have been sent to the appropriate guests.
- Work closely with all departments to coordinate Player Development scheduling and activities on property.
- Arrange accommodations and amenities for valued guests and top $400 theoretical and up players.
- Assures effective communications are maintained within areas of responsibility by informing employees of plans and progress and conducting employee discussion sessions at regular intervals.
- Continually evaluates comp decisions.
- Helps perform projections, including reporting actual results of host team efforts against established goals.
- Oversees the development and implementation of promotions and special events.
- Ensures that the highest levels of service are promoted and maintained.
- Acts within scope and authority and is consistent with Company and Corporate objectives, guidelines, policies and practices.
- Ensures optimum performance of the function by recommending and implementing techniques to improve productivity, increase effectiveness and cut cost.
- Maintain relationship with valued gaming guest and market our gaming product to new potential high-limit guests.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
- Must possess initiative, as demonstrated through ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work.
- Must demonstrate well developed inter-personal skills.
- May require ability to travel to various locations on business.
- Requires excellent analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills.

- May include but are not limited to: Supports and maintains Seminole courtesy guidelines. This includes attending Seminole customer service, supervisory and all other required training.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and guest information.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, hazard free and fair work environment.
- Must be familiar with and follow all policies and procedures as directed by the Seminole Casino including but not limited to; all audit policies and procedures, the MICS (Minimum Internal Control Standards) and any other policies and procedures as instituted and directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned and directed.
- Will be cross-trained in positions within department to assist and fill in as needed.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A college degree in a related field or certification is preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years having managed and directly supervised a staff is preferred.
- Gaming experience in developing hi value players required.
- Applicant may be asked to work a variety of schedules, to include; long hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, team player with good problem solving skills required.
- Must be able to effectively manage time.
- Proven record of attracting and increasing participation of high end players; this involves and understanding of trends, interests, and habits of target market.
- Must possess a positive attitude, exceptional guest service skills, outstanding phone etiquette, excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task and make quick decisions in a stressful environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Must possess strong organizational, communication (both written and oral), and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move 20 pounds or more.
