POSITION TITLE: Compliance Officer
POSITION REPORTS TO: Compliance Manager
LOCATION: Seminole Nation Gaming Agency

SALARY: $29K - $30.5K
POSITION PURPOSE: The Compliance Officer is responsible for assisting in the process of developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with casino internal controls and procedures, so as to ensure compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal and State gaming regulations and the protection of Tribal assets. The incumbent will also conduct investigations of reported non-compliance as deemed necessary and will ensure corrective action has taken place. The incumbent will also work with the SNGA EGM Specialist, with the electronic gaming machines, i.e. installations, removals, upgrade and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associated Degree in business or business administration, security training or experience, casino operational training or experience, counseling or work-related experience preferred. 3 years’ experience within a regulatory environment or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have skill in applying complete fact finding, analytical and problem solving, methods and techniques. Must have knowledge of TICS, MICS and Title 15 of Seminole Nation Code of Laws.
INDIAN PREFERENCE: Qualified Indian applicants will receive preference over non-Indian applicants. Priority in selection will be given to Indian candidates who present proof of eligibility for Indian preference. Verification in the form of a Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) or tribal enrollment card must be provided with the application.
