SUMMARY: The Gaming Technician is responsible for the access of electronic gaming machines being readily available for play in an effort to maximize revenue and provides the following essential duties listed below. The ultimate objective of this position is to help advance the Seminole Nation by delivering value and signature moments every day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:
• Creates and supports a work environment/culture focused on building high-trust relationships by extending support and respect to all.
• Maintains all electronic gaming devices operating conditions and is responsible for the effective implementation of the gaming devices preventative maintenance program.
• Maintains clear open communication with leadership and colleagues.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment using manufacturer testers and manuals, wiring diagrams and the internet.
• Maintains a clean organized and safe work environment on floor/slot storage area.
• Notifies management of any suspicious activity or transactions in a timely and responsible manner mandated in Title 31.
• Assist the Gaming Tech Supervisor in the maintenance of slot files and audit requests.
• Coordinate training with Vendors and Slot Floor Attendants, Slot Lead, and Slot Floor Supervisors.
• Assists with daily projects and maintenance on the gaming floor when necessary.
• Completes electronic gaming device moves as required by business demand.
• Troubleshoot and repair of component level electronic circuitry in gaming devices.
• Assist Gaming Department staff with customer disputes and other problems/ malfunctions that may occur.
• Responsible for inventory log of all gaming machine components.
• Respond to requested needed gaming machine parts by delivering components to the casino facility and assembling such devices in no longer than a 48 hour period.
• Submit daily reports to the Director of Gaming informing of number of electronic gaming machine down, amount of days and reason why.
• Responsible for the inventory of Slot chairs delivered to Casino Operations staff.
• Schedule machine activities with Vendors, Gaming Agency, and Gaming Department, Slot System Administrator, IT and Security.
• Follow all policies, procedures and gaming regulations defined by SNGE Management, SNGA, and NIGC.
• Promote a work environment that is pleasant and desirable for all.
• Answer service calls on a 24-hour basis to assist in keeping gaming machines available for play.
• Responsible for providing listed services at Seminole Nation Casino, Rivermist Casino and Wewoka Trading Post Casino.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
One year to three years of similar or related experience. Equivalent to a high school education.
