Employment Type: 3-6 Month Contract (with potential to convert to permanent)

Reports To: Service Operations Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Print Production Operator to join our team, embedded at a customer print production site, located in the Orlando area. This role is initially offered as a 3-6 month contract with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and business needs. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation of print production equipment, customer engagement and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality printed materials that meet customer expectations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Print Production:
- Operate and monitor digital and/or offset printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Prepare print jobs by reviewing job tickets, setting up equipment, and performing necessary adjustments.
- Quality Assurance:
- Inspect printed materials for accuracy, color consistency, and quality standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs on printing equipment as needed.
- Workflow Management:
- Prioritize and manage multiple print jobs to meet customer deadlines.
- Collaborate with co-workers and customers to ensure job specifications are met.
- Inventory and Supplies:
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of paper, toner/ink, and other materials to avoid production delays.
- Coordinate with various vendors for material and any outsourcing requirements.
- Customer Interaction:
- Work closely with the customer to understand job requirements and provide updates on job progress.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Provide basic key operator assistance and consumable delivery within customer site for end user print devices.
- Safety and Maintenance:
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with repair technicians for regular equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Experience:
- 2 years of experience operating print production equipment (digital or offset).
- Familiarity with prepress processes and file preparation is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training in print production is preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Ability to work onsite full-time at the customer location.
- Physical capability to lift materials, minimum of 25 lbs., and stand for extended periods during shifts.
- Must pass company and customer background checks
