DESCRIPTION:
The Coordinator, TRIO Grant Database works with community partners and College project staff, faculty, and administrators to monitor grant objectives for the US Department of Education TRIO, EOC grant in compliance with college policies. Develops, maintains, supports, and manages grant evaluation plan. Provides data for the USDOE reports. Advises, assists, and communicates with participants on post-secondary programs and admissions requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Develops, maintains, and manages a detailed evaluation plan for attaining grant objectives (e.g. Year Log).
2. Coordinates the development of data collection definitions and collaborates with community partners to ensure the integrity of participant data.
3. Conducts data status meetings to report on issues, outcomes achieved to date, and feedback on actions needed to achieve grant objectives.
4. Assists with maintaining budget expenses to ensure that expenses are tied to grant outcomes.
5. Collects, compiles, and analyzes participant data for reporting and evaluation components required by grant funding agency.
6. Advises and follows up with participants from surrounding community partners on admissions, academic programs, enrollment completion, including financial aid applications and supporting documents.
7. Develops and ensures the completion of data production schedules, and the creation, compilation, and distribution of grant materials and reports in response to agency requests.
8. Supports and maintains effective and efficient office workflow and processes (e.g. timekeeping and travel) in compliance with college policies and grant requirements.
9. Designs, conducts, and analyzes data collection activities including surveys and site visits in support of national and program evaluation.
10. Determines and collects participant data from outside partners to meet grant objectives.
11. Implements rigorous program evaluation in collaboration with the third-party evaluator in compliance with college and grant policies.
12. Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
2. Three years of professional experience in either office, educational (K-12 or post-secondary), or customer service environment.

1. Bachelor’s degree from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
2. Work experience in an educational environment.
3. Experience collecting data and integrating results into information systems.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
2. Excellent Microsoft Office 365 skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to become proficient in videoconferencing applications including Teams/Zoom.
3. Knowledge and ability in database management concepts and reporting software.
4. Ability to translate data into usable information for both internal and external audiences.
5. Ability to provide appropriate analysis to large quantitative and qualitative data sets.
6. Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
7. Familiarity with practices and processes for surveys and institutional research methods.
8. Ability to exhibit a professional, courteous demeanor.
