What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Psychologist position at Seminole Tribe of Florida?
The incumbent in this position is responsible for conducting psychological assessments of Seminole Tribe of Florida’s children, adolescents and adults. The individual performs assessments related to intellectual abilities, academic skills, and mental health issues. The incumbent provides appropriate diagnoses and clinical recommendations, as well as, provides appropriate psycho-education/feedback.
Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D. or Ph.D.) from a nationally accredited American Psychology Association (APA) program is required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with children and adults is required. Prior experience conducting Autism and/or Neuropsychological Evaluations is preferred, but not required. Current and active licensed by the State of Florida as a Psychologist is required. Individual must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to speak the Creek and/or Miccosukee language is preferred. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
