What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Occupational Therapist (OT) - Pediatrics position at Seminole Tribe of Florida?
This incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting with the supervision and guidance of all Children’s Center for Diagnostics & Therapy (CCDT) Occupational Therapists. The incumbent creates and presents systematic approaches to services delivery; plans and administers occupational therapy evaluations and plans and implements appropriate treatment to those children referred to the CCDT Program. The individual documents provision of care, works cooperatively with STOF’s support staff and participates in special projects as may be necessary.
Qualifications / Requirements
Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy is required. A minimum of three (3) years related experience working as Occupational Therapist, with at least one (1) year in a supervisory capacity, is required. The incumbent must possess a current license as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Florida. Individual must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Application Question(s):
This position is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, however there may be occasions you may need to work earlier or later in order to meet with clients. You would be based in Hollywood however travel to other Reservations as needed which includes going to Clewiston and Okeechobee. There is a departmental vehicle you can use to travel between sites.
