The Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum is a vibrant cultural hub dedicated to preserving and presenting the rich history and heritage of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Staff member to join our team and help maintain our beautiful facility and grounds.
***Fuel Stipend available for commuting 40 miles or more in addition to base pay.
Position Summary
Under close to general supervision, the incumbent in this position is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance and repairs work throughout the buildings, facilities grounds and equipment located at the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum of the Seminole Tribe of Florida ensuring the clean and safe operations of the facility and/or equipment.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent GED is required. Two (2) years of experience working in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds is required. Vocational/technical training in maintenance and/or mechanical repair or any combination of training and experience will be considered. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License. Ability to work a flexible schedule including, weekends, evenings and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
