What are the responsibilities and job description for the SQL Report Writer Data Analyst position at Seminole Tribe of Florida?
The incumbent in this position is responsible for the development, implementation and support of mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reports gathered from various production systems. The SQL BI Report Writer collaborates with business stakeholders, department leaders and subject matter experts to develop and support BI information (reports, dashboards, etc.) that meet the business needs for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, within the context of new workflows and applications. This role involves creating impactful reports, analyzing data, and developing ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration. The incumbent in this position gathers requirements, performs analysis and translates business reporting requirements to BI report technical specifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field is required. A minimum of five (5) years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), including designing, writing, administering, and maintaining reports. Extensive experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, as proficiency in creating SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL, and Power BI Q&A queries and reports, is essential.
Experience with Power BI, SSIS, SQL, SSRS migration, as well as diagnosing and resolving query performance issues, is required. Familiarity with Crystal Reports and previous experience working with healthcare data are preferred. Ability to collaborate directly with employees, translating their needs into actionable business reporting, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Power BI reports, and dashboards. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License is required. Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrate Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Ability to travel to all STOF Reservations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
